Susan Aglukark Contest with RedWAY BC News
Win one of FIVE autographed copies of "Blood Red Earth"
by Kristin Kozuback, Publisher, RedWAY BC News

ENTER TO WIN!

Susan Aglukark
Blood Red Earth

Release Date: August 2006

Susan Aglukark’s newest independent release, Blood Red Earth is arguably her most personal and reflective album to date.  Capturing stories from her ongoing travels to Northern and remote communities, and echoing people’s hopes and expectations for a future that burns brightly, Blood Red Earth is a tribute to the power of one’s own vision and voice. Blood Red Earth was produced by Chad Irschick, and was recorded and mixed at Inception Sound Studios in Toronto.

Blood Red Earth hit the shelves August 22nd, 2006 and is currently nominated for FIVE Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards!  Look for it at your local music stores (HMV, Sunrise, Indigo, Costco, Best Buy, CD Warehouse, and many more!).  If they don’t have it, order it from them!  Otherwise, visit the website to order through PayPal(TM), coming soon.  Call your local radio stations and request the first single,  I Will Return, and watch for the music video, currently in rotation on CMT!

Susan loves to hear from her fans!  To send a letter to Susan and join the fan club, email fanmail@susanaglukark.com.  More information in this issue!

ENTER TO WIN ONE OF FIVE AUTOGRAPHED CD'S

Spiritlink Communications is thrilled to announce a free contest for our subscribers. To enter to win one of FIVE  copies of Susan’s newest album Blood Red Earth, answer this question:

"Which is your favourite Susan Aglukark song, and why?"

Many of you will have an old favourite song of Susan's that immediately pops to mind, but check out songs from her new album to see if one speaks to you now. Here's our suggestions:

Simply visit her newly designed website at http://www.susanaglukark.com/ and click on the "DISCOGRAPHY" section.  You'll find CD covers of her six albums (1993 to 2006!) so click on an album you'd like to explore!

Select a song you'd like to hear, and then click the play button  in the music player controls at the bottom left. Listen to the new songs, revisit old ones, maybe find a new favourite, then click HERE to send us your answer to this question below by November 30th, 2006:

"Which is your favourite Susan Aglukark song, and why?"

The rules are simple: one entry per person, you must be a RedWAY BC News subscriber to qualify, we must receive your entry by email by November 30th, 2006 and you must agree to let us share your response and a bit of info about you when we announce the winners. Details at RedWAY BC News (www.imninc.com/spiritlink).  Our newsletter is free, secure and confidential - and we guarantee your contact info will never be shared nor sold outside of Spiritlink Communications.  And, it's a great way to connect to job opportunities, events, news and stories honouring Urban Aboriginal people in Canada.

Enjoy her music and the beautiful website. Good luck in the contest, and a special thanks to Susan and her team for connecting our RedWAY readers to her music!
