First Clip - Media Monitoring at its best!
Access to over 50 daily newspapers from across BC
by Spiritlink Communications
This page will feature articles profiling Aboriginal business success stories. We hope to hear from you! Enjoy our first informative business profile... What is media monitoring? The concept of First-Clip News Clipping Services seems simple: the team gets up early and reads papers for people. First Clip searches for relevant business articles, and then clips them very carefully, mounts them properly on a plain piece of paper, and faxes them to people that would want to read them. First Clip tracks how many articles are sent out each month, and then bills the clients. The client willingly pays a small monthly monitoring fee and a "per clip" charge, depending on how many articles are found for them. First Clip is then responsible for paying the copyright fees to accesscopyright, to pay respect (and fees) to the original owner.
Clients are thrilled to get to the office in the morning and find they have the latest articles relevant to their business and industry from across BC. Clients who use a service like First Clip can help businesses, individuals or organizations: Keep more informed this year about issues like self-governance, Aboriginal success stories, legislative changes and Economic Development in First Nations communities across BC Find out about key issues, developments and media views in their region, or provincial reactions to issues in their region Create a current, targeted resource library for any school, student, organization and community .
First Clip has built a strong reputation as a reliable, professional and BC-focused media monitoring service. Strategic alliances with other small media monitoring businesses in other provinces have helped develop their competitive position to secure their place as the second largest media monitoring service in BC.
