Seminars on Spills
Tom Moses, Spill Center president, participated in a one-day seminar on “Spill Prevention and Response in Illinois,” Nov. 12 in Chicago. He discussed the benefits of a new Hazardous Materials Tracking Center developed by Spill Center to improve security for shippers and transporters.
Tom was an invited speaker at the AmeriQuest Transportation Industry Convention in St. Thomas, Nov. 5-9. He also spoke at the AmeriQuest Fall Maintenance Managers Meeting in Baltimore in October. He discussed ways spill generators can contain costs and minimize liabilities through spill preparedness and contingency planning.
