New Website Is Interactive
Spill Center has gone interactive with its web site
Spill Center has gone interactive with its web site. Regular visitors to the site at
www.spillcenter.com were surprised recently to find a whole new look and an expanded menu of interactive selections.
The changes are designed to improve efficiency and provide additional information about Spill Center’s contingency planning, incident reporting, cleanup contractor database, and other support services for transporters.
In addition, Environmental and Hazmat News Briefs have been added along with articles related to spill management, cost containment and third-party claims. Opinion polls to gather feedback are also new at the web site.
For subscribers to Spill Center services, the new web site serves as an automated attendant, on duty 24/7. Subscribers have password access, allowing them to:
Report spill information
Find a cleanup contractor
View disposal options
Review contingency plans
Request a Call Back
Ask The Expert
Additional resources will be added in the near future to make the site even more convenient and useful for Spill Center subscribers.
For non-subscribers, the new site makes it easy to learn more about Spill Center and how the program helps transporters control costs and limit liability arising from spills of hazmat, diesel fuel and other regulated materials.
Since 1990, Spill Center has been assisting subscribers in dealing with regulatory authorities, cleanup contractors, and claimants following transportation-related spills, anywhere in North America, 24 hours a day. Our staff is made up of environmental, legal and technical specialists.
