Contact centers may see $15,000 refund on telecom fees

On May 25th, 2006 The U.S. Treasury Department announced it is conceding the legal dispute over the federal excise tax on long-distance telephone service.

IRS Notice 2006-50 dated May 25, 2006 advises that a tax credit can be taken on your company’s 2006 Corporate Income Tax Return for all Federal Excise Tax paid from March 1, 2003 through July 31, 2006.

This policy change presents you with an opportunity to recoup fees paid.

The larger your company, the bigger your refund.

But quantifying how much you should be refunded is time consuming -- and tax filing deadlines are looming.

We can help you make the deadline and get the maximum refund.
