Suburban West - 495/Mass Pike
Market Highlights

The Suburban – Route 495/Mass Pike area contains 11 towns including Framingham, Holliston, Hopkinton, Hudson, Marlborough, Natick, Northborough, Shrewsbury, Southborough, Sudbury and Westborough.

Framingham – TJX Companies has committed to a deal with Carruth Capital, at 500 Old Connecticut Path.  The company plans to phase into 250,000 square feet of space over the next three years.  The Old Connecticut Path complex, owned by Carruth Capital, is currently made up of three buildings, totaling 305,000 square feet.  In addition, plans for another 55,000 square foot building have been proposed. 

Westborough – Globe Specialty Poducts, Inc. has signed a 3-year lease to occupy 68,153 square feet at 27 Otis Street in the Westborough Commerce Center.  27 Otis Street is a 107,000 square foot industrial building that was delivered in 1988.

Westborough – META Group, Inc. has renewed their lease at One Research Drive.  They have relocated within the building and will occupy 11,544 square feet. Berkeley Investments, Inc. owns the 282,000 square foot office building that was constructed in 1981.    

Metrowest - Several new requirements have come on the market and are looking for space in the 495/Mass Pike area.  These requirements include Connected Corporation and Courion Corporation, who are both in the market for 25,000 square feet.  Also, Egenera, Invento Networks and Mercator Advisory Group are all in the market for 10,000 square feet, 8,000 square feet and 5,500 square feet, respectively.  In addition, Workspace and Beacon Application Software are both in the market for 7,000 square feet.
