America’s Best Warranty
Peace of mind, one mile at a time.

Hyundai has always been serious about building great vehicles, and there’s no better way for a company to prove its commitment to its customers than by standing behind its products. For over a decade, that’s exactly what Hyundai has done. The automaker offers what it calls America’s Best Warranty with a 10-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty, but few buyers recognize that the engine and transmission coverage is only the tip of the iceberg. Hyundai also beats out its competitors in every other major warranty category.
That includes the company’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty, which protects buyers for five years or 60,000 miles. The guarantee covers the repair or replacement of any component manufactured or installed by Hyundai, and it lasts two years and 24,000 miles longer than similar warranties from automakers like Toyota, Nissan, Honda and Chevrolet. It even beats out luxury automaker Lexus by one year and 10,000 miles. That’s impressive, and Hyundai is no less serious about guaranteeing its vehicles against rust.
Whereas Chevrolet covers its vehicles against perforation from rust for six years or 100,000 miles, the Hyundai Anti-Perforation Warranty covers the company’s products for seven years and an unlimited number of miles. Toyota, Honda and Nissan, meanwhile, only cover their vehicles for five years. The Hyundai warranty protects against any rust that forms inside the body through to the outside on all Hyundai body sheet metal.
In addition to being committed to its customers, Hyundai believes in protecting the environment as well. As a result, the automaker includes an eight-year/80,000-mile Federal Emission Defect and Performance Warranty with all of its products. Should your vehicle fail to perform as designed in any applicable, EPA-approved inspection program, Hyundai will repair or replace the vehicle’s catalytic converter, engine control module or Onboard Emissions Diagnostic Device free of charge.
Sometimes, all the warranties in the world don’t mean as much as knowing that there will be someone there to help out in the event of an emergency. That’s why Hyundai includes five years of unlimited roadside assistance with every new vehicle they sell. If you ever need help with a flat tire or have to jump-start your vehicle, or you lock yourself out of your vehicle or simply run out of fuel, Hyundai will be there to lend a hand. It’s a service that Honda, Nissan and Toyota don’t even offer their customers.
The peace of mind that comes with knowing you’ve purchased a quality vehicle is priceless, but knowing that an automaker will stand behind its product for years after you drive off the lot is even more invaluable. Hyundai is proud of the fact that it can offer its buyers America’s Best Warranty because it demonstrates just how confident the company is that its products will last well into the future. An impressive Powertrain Limited Warranty, New Vehicle Limited Warranty, Anti-Perforation Warranty and five years of unlimited roadside assistance should make purchasing a new Hyundai vehicle an easier choice than ever before.
