The Ambassador of Free Enterprise Program was developed to further one of the five founding principles of the association:
 
“Support the Free Enterprise System. In recognizing that sales and marketing is the energizing force that drives the competitive marketplace, SME-International has always been committed to supporting the free enterprise concept.”
 
In order to be accepted as an Ambassador of Free Enterprise an SME-International member (Chapter Member or Virtual Executive Member) must meet the following conditions:
 
1)     Be a dues paid member in good standing
2)     Be a member in good standing of the
SME-International Online Speaker’s Bureau
3)     Present a minimum of one SME-International “Free Enterprise” address to a school or youth group annually at no charge
4)     Registration with SME-International of the school(s) or organization(s) to whom you present including contact information
5)     Submission of a confirmation of your presentation or testimonial letter from the school or youth organization(s)

Benefits of being an official Ambassador of Free Enterprise for SME-International:
 
1)     Satisfaction of contributing to the education of youth about the importance of Free Enterprise
2)     Meaningful contribution to the community at large and the sales and marketing profession specifically
3)     Add to the credibility of your career and/or business
4)     Receive recognition on the SME-International web site with the official Ambassador of Free Enterprise Logo on your speaker’s bureau listing
5)     Higher ranking search results for web site users when searching for speakers
6)     Authorized use of the SME-International Ambassador of Free Enterprise logo on your web site and business stationery
7)     Be recognized in official press releases from SME-International and local chapters
 
Upon application for the Ambassador of Free Enterprise status, you will receive:
 
1)     PowerPoint presentation which you can customize with your own personality and stories
2)     Presentation guide
3)     Sample press release (all press releases must have final copy approval from SME-International)
4)     Ambassador of Free Enterprise Lapel Pin & Wall Plaque
5)     Digital stationery kit including Ambassador of Free Enterprise logo material suitable for print and online publication including instructions and conditions of use.
