One of our largest and most intuitive clients said something profound to me in a recent meeting. He said, “ Sam, the financial markets are going through the acute phase of this cycle and it seems to be coming to end as you suggested. But we still need to experience the chronic phase that will really wear people out over time.” I’m going to spend this update dissecting that statement in putting it into practical terms because it’s dead on correct and there are real implications for all of us.
