I almost hate to admit this. As I was reviewing charts last week, I found myself humming to the tune of “Rocket Man” by Elton John. I actually still like Elton John in sort of weird nostalgic way. Why “Rocket Man”? It had everything to do with the chart patterns I was reviewing. By performing a simple rank and sort over the last 45 days, an obvious list of sectors bubbled to the top. They are Gold (shares), emerging markets, and Japan... While all have been on the short list for most of 2005, I find their recent near vertical advance troubling in the short term.

But proceed cautiously, as HSA’s are not the cure for the nation’s health insurance crisis, and they do require more work form both the consumer and the employer.
