The new state-of-the-art Learning Resource Centre (LRC) at the Hendon campus of Middlesex University was named the Sheppard Library at its official opening ceremony in June 2006.

The centre was named in honor of the university's chancellor, The Rt Hon Lord Sheppard of Didgemere KCVO Kt. 

The LRC uses the Horizon library management system together with RFID self-check and access control systems from our technology partner Bibliotheca. SirsiDynix was represented at the event by Phil Coles, one of the senior sales consultants from the UK office.
