News from Europe: The Library + information Show

The Library + information Show, which is the only national library and information event held in the UK, took place on the 26th and 27th of April. The show is an annual industry focal point with a dedicated seminar program. The event is held at the NEC in Birmingham and is co-located with MUREX, the national museum resources exhibition.
The show is now in its 17th year and is supported by the major associations and press, with SirsiDynix as the main sponsor of the event.
With many exhibitors and a comprehensive seminar program, the Library + information Show 2006 was a must attend event for library and information professionals across the public, school, academic, and workplace sectors from around the UK.
