Last month, Talin Bingham joined SirsiDynix as senior vice president of technology. He leads the company’s worldwide research and development efforts. Bingham’s direct reports are Byers Parsons, chief software architect; John Dickson, vice president of software development; and Lynn Thackeray, director of software development.
Bingham brings to SirsiDynix more than 20 years of software engineering experience, including 10 years at the management level for a range of product development organizations. Bingham’s professional experience includes recent roles as a consultant in the development of complex software systems and applications; vice president of development for Verticore Technologies, Salt Lake City; director of engineering and chief software engineer for Cimetrix Inc., Midvale, Utah; development manager and chief software engineer for Century Software, Murray, Utah; development manager for Wasatch Interactive Learning, Murray, Utah; principal software engineer for Unisys Corp., Salt Lake City; and software engineer for Boeing Corp., Seattle. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Griffin College in Bellevue, Wash.
