The AFCEA Hawaii Chapter and the AFCEA Educational Foundation are pleased to announce the new Lt. Gen. Thomas Rienzi, USA (Ret.), Scholarship. The Hawaii Chapter and the Educational Foundation are co-sponsoring the scholarship. A generous endowment from the chapter will provide for the scholarship in perpetuity.

The annual award is in honor of Gen. Rienzi for his devotion to a lifetime of service improving the military communications landscape, particularly in the Pacific region.

Recipients will be selected during the May to June time frame each year from eligible candidates based on the recommendation of a scholarship board. The scholarship board will be under the guidance of the Hawaii Chapter educational vice president. Information on the eligibility requirements can be found at the Hawaii Chapter’s Web site.
