Corporate Member Publishing
One of the advantages of AFCEA corporate membership is the free corporate profile in the annual January
SIGNAL Source Book and the online version at
www.afcea.org/sourcebook. This benefit has been enhanced this year to enable companies to change their corporate profile through the AFCEA portal, providing companies more control of the timeliness of their online listing and making the annual print update process more efficient.
Individuals designated as corporate contacts can access their company’s listings through the portal at
https://afceaportal.org. They will be required to put in their user identification number and their password. Updates can be made year-round, but
changes after the September 7, 2004, deadline will not appear in the 2005 print directory.
AFCEA has sent corporate contacts an update package that includes a copy of the directory listing that is currently on file, the corporate contact user ID number and instructions on several different methods for updating the corporate profile.
Companies that do not want to make changes still should visit the update site so they can add their discipline topics to their listing and mark their writeup as "okay for publication."
Both AFCEA corporate membership information and Source Book publication information can be updated on the AFCEA portal. However, changes in one database do not automatically occur in the other database. Because some companies want to publish different contact and marketing addresses from the information they use for AFCEA correspondence, the association maintains two separate sets of records. Companies will receive a prompt when they update either area that will direct them to update the other area.
Information posted is subject to review by the
SIGNAL staff and will be edited for grammar, punctuation and spelling.
Companies can also purchase rotating banners on the online site for the 2005 calendar year. For information, contact
