SIGNAL Magazine has updated its home page and added a search feature that will enable online research into past issues. The site currently features a
search capability for articles back to October 2003. Additional back issues are being added each month.
Archives back to 1999 allow access to some feature articles online, and a
SIGNAL index organizes articles by topic dating back to 1990. Users can also search the
acronym finder and
subscribe or
order books online.
Additional
online publications can be accessed directly from the site, including the AFCEA Security Directory, the Source Book Online, European
SIGNAL Online, and the Joint Warrior Interoperability Demonstration (JWID) Special Report.
The
SIGNAL links page connects to other helpful information from language translations to currency conversion to airport travel information. Visitors also will find a compilation of hot buttons to military, government, laboratories and international sites.
AFCEA chapters can link directly to information about
submitting Chapter News and also can access an online form at the
SIGNAL site.
Currently, the site is fully accessible to everyone, but links to some features may be limited to AFCEA members in the future.
In addition to the new Web site,
SIGNAL is preparing a site where corporate members can update their information for the January Source Book and the
Source Book online corporate capabilities listings. To be included in both versions of the 2005 Source Book, contact the
Corporate membership department of AFCEA.
