Villanova University is partnering with Delaware SHRM once again in offering the 13-week Villanova/SHRM Learning System Course at J.P. Morgan Chase, 500 Stanton Christiana Road, Newark, DE. Classes will take place one evening per week from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., starting Monday, August 28, 2006 through Monday, November 27, 2006.
The Certificate in Professional Human Resource Management program covers all six functional areas of human resource management as defined by HRCI:
• Strategic Management
• Workforce Planning and Employment
• Human Resource Development
• Compensation and Benefits
• Employee and Labor Relations
• Occupational Health, Safety and Security
Villanova University’s program will not only help prepare you for the HRCI national PHR or SPHR certification examination, it is also designed for Human Resource professionals seeking professional development. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive the Certificate in Professional Human Resource Management from Villanova University, 3.9 Continuing Education Units (CEU’s), and access to the Job Bank at the Philadelphia Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.
Neil Horgan, Retired Vice President and Consultant, Manchester Partners, will return as the course instructor. Each student will receive the 2006 SHRM Learning System and CD ROM. Students will also have access to the on-line HRM Learning Resource Center for one year.
