Batty For You Banner (also known as a garland)
A Halloween Home Decor Idea from our Founder, Jill Davis
Dear Valued Reader,
I love decorating my home each holiday with a special banner, or garland. It really sets the tone and adds a very festive touch to the entryway, hearth, kitchen island, my grandkids rooms, or wherever else I might think to put one.
For Halloween this year, I decided to try my hand at using the NEW Cricut Expression Electronic Die Cutting Machine, and wow, what a wonderful addition to my scrap space and creative repertoire. Estee's Take: At Least I'm Not an Elephant
From our weekly columnist
 "In case you haven’t noticed, I have three children. I haven’t mentioned that, have I? Oh wait, I mention that weekly. Huh. Now that we have settled that, let’s do some math. My three children = three ridiculously long pregnancies. Brad always reminded me that, "What are you whining about? Elephants are pregnant for 22 months. You should be grateful that you aren‘t an elephant." To which I would scream, "I feel like an elephant! I look like an elephant!" and would waddle as quickly as nature allowed from the room amidst a flood of tears and pregnancy hormones. He would find me in the backyard creating a bonfire from all of my maternity tents, um, shirts that even resembled anything in an elephant hue.
I’m just not good at being pregnant..."
