Have you received your January/February issue of CI magazine?
by Bonnie Hohhof

One of the major advantages of an online publication is that all members receive it at the same time, so scip.online is the primary communication vehicle of current SCIP information. The receipt date of Competitive Intelligence Magazine issues, as a print journal, is not as consistent. A short poll of members identified Connecticut as the first place (Jan. 31) to receive the January/February issue (mailed Jan. 24), Germany on Feb.7, Chicago (me) on Feb. 11, and England on Feb.20.

The current CI magazine printing schedule is timed to get an issue into member's hands within the two calendar months listed on the cover. For example, the March/April issue will be mailed on March 16th. By the end of the year the standard mail date will be the first of the month. In addition, the issue’s contents appear on the SCIP web site in PDF format before the issue is mailed out to provide all members with equal access to its content. [Note: please contact Carolina Olivieri if you have not received your print issue.]
