Jan, a SCIP meritorious award winner and former director of Motorola’s CI unit, will discuss the 10 major forces of change that will shape the CI discipline over the next decade. The likely outcome is something that we all will have stake in and, with some forethought and concerted action, we can positively influence that future. This webinar's cost is $99 for SCIP members.

Jan P. HerringJan P. Herring is a recognized expert in the discipline of business intelligence and a frequent speaker at SCIP functions. He is a founding SCIP member, Fellow and 1993 recipient of the Society’s highest award, the Meritorious Award, for his contribution to both SCIP and the discipline. Mr. Herring is also the first recipient of the Faye Brill Service Award for his many years of direct and extraordinary support for SCIP.
Jan’s professional experience includes developing and managing Motorola’s highly acclaimed intelligence program, designing and assisting NutraSweet in creating its very successful program, and, in his earlier career, setting up the US Government’s first business intelligence operation. He now has his own consulting firm, Herring & Associates, which assists intelligence professionals set up and manage their own business intelligence systems, as well as improve their existing intelligence operations.
