In honor of The Humane Society of Charlotte’s 31st year of helping animals in need, and SAAB of Charlotte’s 28th year of serving loyal SAAB customers, SAAB of Charlotte, along with our sister store Volvo of Charlotte, is proud to support the H.S.C. by donating 5% of profits from every car sold in 2009. Now every safe and luxurious SAAB or Volvo we sell will help to find safe and loving homes for homeless animals.
The mission of the Humane Society of Charlotte is to bring love and hope to all animals by ensuring the humane treatment of companion animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and education.
The Humane Society of Charlotte is working with you to create a world where there are no more homeless and unwanted animals. They are proud to be a “No-Kill of Adoptable Animals” shelter. “No-kill of Adoptable Animals” means saving all cats and dogs that are rehabilitable and manageable. Euthanasia is reserved only for those cases where an animal is suffering or poses a public safety concern.
They are committed to treating all animals that enter their shelter with love, kindness, and dignity. In 2008 alone, the H.S.C. found homes for nearly 2,000 animals and prevented additional unwanted births by performing more than 9,000 spay/neuter surgeries at their two clinics.
