Daniel and Oscar approached management and proposed the flag ceremony, pointing out that there is a certain amount of responsibility that goes along with flying an American flag. Daniel and Oscar are well versed in the rules associated with flying the flag due to their military backgrounds. Daniel served 3 years in the Marine Corps, rising to the rank of Lance Corporal and specializing in amphibious assault vehicles. Oscar served 6 years in the Navy Seabees, rising to the rank of Sergeant and specializing as a construction mechanic. Oscar saw active duty in Guam, Okinawa, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Kuwait before coming to Rusnak BMW as a technician.
The ceremony is well respected among the associates at the facility, especially because of the honor displayed by Daniel and Oscar by volunteering to take on the daily duty, performed with the pride and dedication our country's soldiers are famous for.
