You’ll hear the story of the butler who refuses to retire – and still haunts the home today. You’ll also visit a haunted submarine where the past crewmembers still remain on duty. Who knew history could be so alive?
All aboard for the “Burning River Ghost Tour!” You’ll explore the U.S.S. Cod, moored in the chilly waters of Lake Erie, and hear the story of a crewman who gave his life to protect the submarine during World War II. You’ll learn how the Cuyahoga River caught on fire, and you’ll visit an island whose inhabitants never made if off alive. You’ll tour Whiskey Island and see the remains of an abandoned Coast Guard Station.
