Hyundai Donates $1.5 million to Alabama Governor’s Emergency Relief Fund
Fund provides needed services for Alabama disaster victims.
On April 27, 2011, a massive tornado struck Tuscaloosa, Alabama, leaving dozens dead and a trail of destruction in its wake. Hyundai, which operates a manufacturing facility in Montgomery, Alabama, stepped in, donating $1.5 million to the Alabama Emergency Relief Fund, which Governor Robert Bentley announced on May 6, 2011.
