Heateflex Expands Offerings With Rittal Support
Rittal enclosures step up to replace competitors

Rittal enclosures step up to replace competitors and provide protection and easy access for controls on high purity water heaters in the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, disk drive and medical device industries.

Since 1974, Heateflex Corporation has been a leader in providing ultra-pure heating equipment to the semiconductor and similar highly technical, demanding markets. In the beginning, the goal was to help customers meet the industry's stringent demands for increased safety, quality, and performance. To meet this goal, company engineers designed products to better combine those needs with improved material and design technologies. The resulting heaters outlast competing products of lesser capability and are designed into a wide range of standard and customized products.

Rittal technology on par with Heateflex’s own

Heateflex systems are designed to heat various chemical solutions, gases and deionized water.  Its line of microprocessor-based temperature controllers offers the latest technology including patented Power-to-Flow Control ® protection on its Aquarius® deionized water heating systems – this line of DI water heating products is housed in Rittal TS8 enclosures.

“Until 2010, Heateflex was using enclosures from another supplier,” recalls Hector Castaneda, the company’s Vice President of Engineering. “But, as our control systems became more sophisticated and the rigors of the environments where our installations were going became more demanding, we needed something with reliable base technology that matched our own.

“Working with Rittal’s field sales team and design engineers it soon became clear that the TS8 enclosure was just what we needed,” he adds. “It is strong and its finish stands up to the most demanding situations. And,inside it can be configured to accommodate whatever we need to install. And, its modular design concept gives us all the room we can conceive of needing to expand our systems without reinventing the enclosure we’ll need to house the next generation.”
