Happy July!
As I write this month’s newsletter, I find myself in one of
those “Glass Half Empty” situations.
On one hand, I have been having a great summer, traveling to
Monterey, San Francisco, Kansas City, Phoenix and Arizona. The 4
th of July was especially
exciting this year in Coronado, with everyone out and enjoying our new sense of
patriotism and national unity. It was a
great long weekend for friends to get together, catch up and spend time with
family. Everywhere we looked it was
parades, American Flags and kids running around without a care in the world.
On the other hand, mid-July always means for me that summer
is half over, the beaches will soon be empty, the kids are gearing up for
school and its back into our old routines.
I just want to use this month’s newsletter to remind everyone that it is
not too late for a fun weekend getaway before summer is over! And it is not too early to start thinking
about Holiday Travel or Spring Break vacations.
We are seeing some exceptionally good rates on traditional
weekend or “drive-vacations” to close fun spots like Santa Barbara, Las Vegas,
Palm Springs and Arizona. Some will
groan at the thought of going to the desert in the summer, but the resorts are
beautiful, the pools and restaurants incredible and the rates down right
cheap! We are also seeing some of the
best rates in years for long weekend trips to Mexico and Hawaii for last minute
travelers. Visit our website
www.TheCruisePlace.com, and click on
Mexico or Hawaii for the latest deals.
Of course we also have the best Cruise values around, from 3
days cruises departing Los Angeles, 7 day cruises to Mexico (From San Diego!)
and just about anything you can imagine.
Our professional agents are always here to help you find just the right
vacation for your specific situation.
We all know there is more information on the internet than we can
manage, but nothing will ever take the place of someone who has been there,
done that! And we have!
Thank you for your business and support. Please feel free to drop by the office when
you are in the neighborhood and say hello, have a cup of coffee and tell us
about your latest adventure.
