We All Know Penguins Can March, But This Deserves a Parade
A record nine penguins have been hatched and raised at the New England Aquarium.

If the Aquarium's penguin staff looks proud, they have good reason because they have just hatched and raised nine new penguin chicks. That is a record for the Aquarium. The first penguin chicks were two little blue penguins (native to Australia) that have already been put on exhibit. The African penguins started nesting in the early summer, and they have produced seven new birds including five chicks that are now several weeks old and are nearly as tall as an adult is. They are in various stages of losing their gray, downy coats and acquiring their slick, juvenile feathers. Two more African chicks are just a few weeks old and are still being reared by their penguin parents. The new chicks will be gradually introduced to the 65 other penguins in the exhibit throughout the coming months.

Are You Really Eating Healthy?
Read between the lines and you’ll discover that what you’re munching on may not be the best choice.

Low fat. Reduced calories. Vitamin enriched. Walk down any aisle of your grocery store and you’ll be bombarded with foods boasting of their benefits. Okay, so wheat bread is better for you than white bread, but is that loaf you have in your hands really the best choice? Sometimes you have to step back and see what you’re buying to really know if it’s healthy.
