So why do I feel like that’s just the “simple” definition?
The fact is almost no one can define horsepower and torque, but they know it when they feel it. There’s a reason why it takes mechanical engineers to define torque and its relationship to horsepower, much less how it is measured where it counts—at the drive wheels. It’s COMPLICATED!
