Going to an event, be it a baseball game, play, or concert, has always been a great form of entertainment. There’s something about
being there and experiencing all the sensations that you just can’t get watching TV or a video. So when many of us hear that our favorite band is coming to town or that Broadway play we’ve always wanted to see is returning, we jump at the chance to experience it live. We eagerly await the day tickets go on sale, and once they do we snatch them up as soon as possible.

Or maybe we don’t. Despite our best intentions, life happens. When the tickets go on sale we’re on vacation, we get an important phone call or we can’t get through to the ticket agent. By the time we do the tickets are sold out. No chance of catching your football team crush their rivals, or that Dave Matthews Band concert everyone’s been raving about. Those of us not quick enough or lucky enough to get these much-sought-after tickets resign ourselves to the fact that we’ll just have to watch it on YouTube.
But all is not lost! There are plenty of ways to get those elusive tickets. One of the easiest ways to get tickets to a show or an event even after it is sold out is from online ticket reselling websites such as
StubHub.com
. On these sites, people who already bought tickets, but for some reason are unable to go, can offer to resell their tickets through online ticket resellers.
The ability to buy tickets even after the ticket box sign reads “SOLD OUT” is an incredible asset, especially to those of us who might not always be on the ball. Now, instead of watching the Red Sox and the Yankees alone in front of your TV, you can be there and holler along with the thousands of other people chanting. Instead of listening to your iPod while all your friends are rocking at the Eagles concert, you can be right there belting out the lyrics and proving that you
are the number one Eagles fan out there. Don’t let sold out tickets prevent you from going; with services like
StubHub.com there’s nothing stopping you.
