Quantapoint Documents Richly Detailed Church for Historical Preservation Project

The Arlington Street Church was scheduled for restoration and preservation work.  It presented unique challenges due to detailed plaster surfaces with high interior elevations.  No existing condition documentation existed that accurately reflected this information to ensure it was preserved.

Quantapoint digitized the structure using laser scanning in one day.  The "digitized building" was used to create detailed 2D drawings, including all the elevated, detailed plaster surfaces of the sanctuary.  The drawings were delivered to the architects within two weeks, enabling them to remain within budget and on schedule.

Quantapoint today announced that it has released the Quantapoint Support Portal.  The Quantapoint Support Portal (QSP) is designed to enable Quantapoint clients to quickly access information and materials that can help them maximize their return on investment from facilities digitized using laser scanning.

The QSP covers all Quantapoint products – including PRISM 3D for viewing the digitized facility on user desktops and QuantaCAD for integration of the digitized facility with 3D CAD – as well as answering frequently asked questions and defining terminology.  The QSP enables clients to search through the Quantapoint knowledge base for solutions and best practices, view top solutions, submit a case to Quantapoint support, review the status and feedback on open cases and view the latest product documentation and automated training.
