Quantapoint SceneModeler Mark VI Laser Scanner Ideal for Documenting Offshore Platforms
Rugged Design, Compact Size and Enhanced Capabilities
The SceneModeler™ Mark VI laser scanner includes many innovations that make it ideal for creating as-built documentation for offshore platforms. It is based on the solid foundation of Quantapoint’s patented Mark V scanner, which is the most reliable, proven and frequently used laser scanner in the industry.
The Mark VI incorporates a closed internal system with minimal moving parts and a solid impact- and water-resistant outer shell to withstand the potentially harsh environments on offshore platforms. The Mark VI is just slightly larger than a typical airline “carry on” bag, measuring only 18.5" high x 7.5" wide x 21.7" long and weighing only 32 lbs, which is ideal for work in congested areas or transport when space is at a premium – such as on helicopters or boats mobilizing to offshore platforms. The Mark VI also offers many innovations that will significantly enhance Quantapoint’s as-built laser documentation™ service capabilities for offshore platforms, such as built-in level, temperature and humidity compensation to help ensure accurate results, a Class 1M laser rating that does not require laser safety goggles and a greater scanning range and speed over a hemispherical field-of-view with a battery-powered option to help ensure efficient and effective operations.
