 In recognition of his experience, leadership, and exceptional ability to interact with customers, John Shipley has been promoted to Director of Services. John is a long-time Quantapoint employee and a seasoned laser scanning veteran, with work experience on 4 continents and on hundreds of projects. John will be responsible for ensuring continuing customer satisfaction by coordinating all aspects of Quantapoint's field proven work process. This includes internal training, pre-project planning, field services, data analysis and integration, drawing and model creation, quality control, delivery and ongoing support.

Clash Detection and Management in Quantapoint PRISM 3D
 Did you know that Quantapoint PRISM 3D™ can import multiple CAD models from different formats and clash them against laser scan data using an advanced algorithm. Each clash is listed and shown in the models, and provides useful information such as clash type and models involved. Clashes may also be reviewed and managed without CAD software. Reports are available to monitor progress and ensure all clashes are addressed prior to construction. This helps to ensure clash-free designs - with up to 80% less project re-work - resulting in reduced costs, optimized schedules, increased quality and improved safety.
