Tampa, FL -- One of the most overlooked steps in the final stages of construction, a renovation project or HVAC system change out is a thorough, professional cleaning of air conditioning, heating, and ventilation (HVAC) systems.

The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) states an HVAC air duct system should normally be inspected every year and cleaned when it is visibly dirty, which is about every three to five years, depending on maintenance.

According to the US Department of Energy (DOE) the “HVAC system accounts for 40 to 60 percent of the energy used in U.S. commercial and residential buildings. This represents an opportunity for energy savings using proven technologies and design concepts”.

Court Shuts Down Ill. Lake Resort Over Mold

FINDLAY, Ill. - A financially troubled eastern Illinois resort has been closed by court order because of mold.

Attorney E.C. Eberspacher of Shelbyville says the company that's managing Eagle Creek Resort through receivership asked a Shelby County Court to close the resort because of the problem. The court agreed Tuesday.

That company, ECR Associates, has been operating the resort while two banks Eberspacher works for tried to foreclose on the Lake Shelbyville resort. Eagle Creek had been operated by another company, Eagle Creek Resort LLC.
