VERO BEACH — The back-to-back hurricanes of 2004 left potentially hazardous mold growing in homes of dozens of barrier island residents who a mold eradication company took advantage of, state prosecutors allege.

Businessman Patrick Bock, 45, of Vero Beach, is on trial in Indian River Circuit Court on criminal charges of organized fraud over $50,000, racketeering and workers compensation fraud, all in connection with his former business, Registry Services Inc., of Vero Beach.
