Tampa Bay Hosts AIHA Environmental Lab Conference
Tampa, FL -- The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) hosted its annual conference for the highly acclaimed Laboratory Quality Assurance Program (LQAP) at the Channelside Marriott in Tampa, FL. This LQAP program has garnered international attention as it addresses identification of hazardous substances of the indoor environment.

School Air Quality Poor, Teachers' Union Says
by WFSB.com
BURLINGTON, Vt. -- The president of the Burlington teachers' union is urging school administrators to address an indoor air-quality problem at the high school.
Rebecca Smith said six teachers at Burlington High School have developed rashes in recent years that appear to be linked to air problems at the school.
The school performed tests in 2004 and 2005 and determined that the building had no significant air-quality problem. In January, school officials said they would fumigate part of the school but later canceled the plan, saying they weren't sure what it would address.
Burlington High School principal Amy Mellencamp has said she thinks the rashes are connected to the school's air quality.
