Tampa, Fl -- Environmental Diagnostics Laboratory (EDLab), the in-house microbiology laboratory of Pure Air Control Services, has received an impressive perfect score (fungi and bacteria) over the past 2.5 years (2005 – 2007 - 7 rounds) on the Environmental Microbiology Proficiency Analytical Testing (EMPAT) Program, a performance evaluation sponsored by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA). LISD Board To Discuss School's Mold Problem

Thursday night, the Leander Independent School Board will decide if Grandview Hills Elementary School should receive millions of dollars to fix a mold problem. That's the new school off of 620 that's being renovated from a former chemical plant into an elementary school. It's another setback for the school that has been plagued with concerns from parents over the safety of the site.

Toxic mold postpones court action
A McDonald company will clean up the mold in the Cortland court.

CORTLAND — Trumbull County Central District Court has been forced to find temporary quarters while a toxic black mold problem is removed. "We scrambled around today," Judge Thomas Campbell said Monday as the court was moved from its permanent North Mecca Street location to the Trumbull County Agricultural Center, 520 W. Main St. Meanwhile, the judge said, it will take about a week for Morocco Services Inc. of McDonald to remove the mold. Testing will then be done to assure the building is safe. "We need to be functional," the judge said.
