Clearwater, Fl. -- On Wednesday, Pure Air Control Services hosted the monthly meeting for the Florida Minority Supplier Diversity Council Meeting (FMSDC) – West Coast Chapter. A partial list of attendees included representatives from Progress Energy, Southwest Florida Water Management District, TECO, and small minority-owned businesses. Attendees enjoyed networking opportunities and Pure Air Control Services shared a spotlight moment which highlighted the indoor environmental variable in the promotion of a healthy workplace environment.

Discovery of mold closes elders home
Wentworth residents, staff forced to move

PORTSMOUTH — Mold found in the walls of the Mark Wentworth Home has forced the closure of that elder care facility.The 38 patients living in the Pleasant Street home will be moved to other comparable facilities around the region until the problem is rectified, said William Henson, chairman of the home's board.

ATLANTA – A proposed standard setting requirements for inspection and maintenance of HVAC systems is open for public comment. ASHRAE/ACCA Standard 180P, Standard Practice for Inspection and Maintenance of Commercial Building HVAC Systems, would establish minimum HVAC inspection and maintenance requirements that aid a system’s ability to achieve acceptable thermal comfort, energy efficiency and indoor air quality in commercial buildings.

Moisture Led to Salmonella Outbreak
