At 11:00 am Monday morning, the National Hurricane Center has released an updated trajectory on Hurricane Ernesto, which now brings the storm ashore along South Florida. The current strike probability shows Ernesto making landfall in the South Florida area on Wednesday morning (August 30th).
We all know that the trajectory of the storm can and will change over time, however we do highly recommend that you activate your emergency preparedness plans.
Take the time to gather your important documents, run and secure your data backups, re-check your company's emergency communications plans, hold a preparatory meeting with your emergency team, closely monitor the weather forecasts and have a Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) plan in place.
