Mold To Push Blancos Out Of Mansion

Mold is forcing Gov. Kathleen Blanco and first gentleman Raymond "Coach" Blanco to make other living arrangements this summer. The Blancos will vacate the Governor's Mansion after the legislative session so construction workers can clean the air ducts and replace the heating and air-conditioning units.

Woman Asks Federal Judge to Make Suit a Class-action Complaint

A Lee County woman wants a federal judge to decide whether residents with hurricane-damaged homes may join her lawsuit against Allstate Floridian Insurance.
Cape Coral resident Luann Guy, 50, has filed suit in U.S. District Court in Fort Myers contending Allstate didn't pay up when Hurricane Charley left her living with mold.
