Rhizopus stolonifer Many asthmatics are sensitive to airborne molds rather than to pollens or animal dander, according to an epidemiological survey published in the British Medical Journal.  "Sensitization to molds is a powerful risk factor for severe asthma in adults," write Mahmoud Zureik.

Proactive Management:  Being a step ahead Stachy was found on ceiling tiles in 2 school pods. Testing began when toxic mold was discovered in a nearby high school. School officials took samples from Holston View and all tested positive for mold.  The director of schools states he's not sure if the problem is serious, but is taking necessary measures to ensure the kids and staff's safety.  Although one student may have had a problem, the director clarifies that the steps taken are proactive driven.
