HVAC Remediation

A large county governemnt in south Florida recently requested Pure Air Control Services to develop a remediation plan that deviated from standard air handler and air conveyance remediation protocol. Normal procedures for remediation of Air Handling Units and Air Conveyance Systems typically include extensive measures that utilize a very defined process for hygenic maintenance of evaporator coils. This particular project, however, was different in the fact that a premature mechanical failure had caused the poor environmental conditions.  This article will briefly discuss standard remediation techniques and a solution to more unusual problems.
