by Newstex

April 08, 2008: 06:06 PM EST

SAN FRANCISCO, Apr. 8, 2008 (Thomson Financial delivered by Newstex) -- American Mold Guard (NASDAQ:AMGI) Inc. late Tuesday said it has terminated all operations, effective immediately, due to the 'severe and unprecedented decline in the residential new construction market.'

The San Juan Capistrano, Calif.-based provider of decontamination and protective coating products and services said it closed all of its offices and laid off all remaining employees.

The company also said its inability to raise enough capital to enable it to be less dependent on the residential new construction market proved to be an insurmountable business condition.

The company's shares were last trading at 18 cents.
