Hampton, GA. -- The FAA was concerned about the environmental condition, including dust, particulate, mold, ect…, within the HVAC ductwork at one of their premier facilities in the U.S., the ARTCC-Hampton, GA facility, that is occupied by air traffic controllers who monitor thousands of flights per year. As a proactive measure the FAA sought out the best IAQ contractor they could find to handle this very precarious project.
To minimize the impact on aircraft flight operations in the southeastern United States the project had to be conducted at night, without incident, maintaining high quality standards all the while the FAA controllers were directing traffic.
