A second lawsuit has been issued against the Weakley County Board of Education, according to press release from Parrish and Shaw, a Memphis-based law firm.
The release stated that Carol Hinman, the mother of Griffin and Dominique Pochop, filed the lawsuit in December and "is asking for a temporary injunction to prevent Westview High School from being used as a place to educate children until it is free from mold contamination."
Hinman's children have tested positive for mold exposure and have had many of the symptoms that Caleb Joost, whose parents sued the board in September, has had, the release stated.
A hearing will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Weakley County Courthouse.
