Lee County-- It will cost Lee County thousands of dollars to clean up a dangerous mold problem. Sometime last year, a pipe burst at the 911 Center. Commissioners say it wasn't properly dried out and cleaned up.
An inspection found a heavy amount of mold beneath the floor. Commissioners say the mold hasn't made anyone sick but they want to take care of the problem as soon as possible.
Employees will be moved to the muster room at the center while the problem is fixed. It'll cost about $50,000.
