A man cleaning air ducts at the Veterans Administration Hospital in University Circle fell to his death this morning.

"He was working in a horizontal duct, slipped into a vertical one and fell from the sixth floor to the second floor," VA spokesman Chuck Bonacci said.

Investigators won't release the man's name or identify the company he worked for until family is notified. No patients were involved.

Bonacci said Cleveland police will assist VA police with an investigation of the incident. Inspectors with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are also at the scene.
