Post-Hurricane Mold Issues Being Solved
by PR Web

Houston, TX -- In the aftermath of this year’s active hurricane season, and the subsequent environmental health dangers that exist as a result of mold, bacteria and endotoxins, Pure Air Control Services has established Building Health Check of Houston to concentrate on performing Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) evaluations and mold assessments for insurance carriers, consumers, building owners, school districts, office management, city, county, state and federal government.

The Houston office is staffed with professional IEQ personnel who are fully trained in the evaluation of buildings and homes.  The increased workload has quickly established the Houston office as a premier provider of IEQ services, while ushering in future expansion.  Using proven sampling techniques, protocols and HVAC assessments, the Indoor Environmental Technicians provide reports to their clients that contain laboratory methods, analysis summary, laboratory results, recommended guidelines and healthy building concerns.

Through its expansion, Building Health Check has met the demand for IEQ and mold survey requests across the country.  Along with the expansion in Houston, other Building Health Check office locations include Atlanta, Georgia; Mobile, Alabama; Tampa, Florida; Washington, DC; and Orlando, Florida.  Building Health Check services are available nationwide.

The upcoming launch of additional offices further reflects the rapid expansion of Pure Air Control Services, with the Atlanta office housing a satellite environmental laboratory in addition to providing Building Health Check services.  Pure Air Control Services maintains a full service in-house AIHA  accredited microbiology environmental laboratory, Environmental Diagnostics Laboratory (EDLab).

Alan Wozniak, President/CEO of Pure Air Control Services, Inc., commented on the expansion of the company, which has been in the IEQ business for over 20 years.  “Due to the increasing demand and request for professional IEQ services, we are expanding our services to the Gulf Coast Region and beyond, to more effectively assist our clients with their particular IEQ needs and concerns.”

Building Health Check provides the following IEQ services: Insurance Claims Assessments, Mold Assessments, Building/Home IEQ Assessments, Mechanical Hygiene Checks, Allergen Screenings, Thermography, Real Estate Due Diligence Transactions.  For more information on BHC services, please visit their website at: www.buildinghealthcheck.com, call toll free: (800) 422-7873.  Building Health Check at Houston can be reached at: (281) 582-8864.
