2003 IAQ 101 Seminars a Success!!!
 
Clearwater, FL – March 2004, Pure Air Control Services’ Indoor Air Quality 101 Seminars were a tremendous success!  The educational outreach goals for 2004 include the continuation of these valuable seminars as well as offering additional industry specific seminars.
 
The upcoming schedule is as follows:  March 23rd (10:00 A.M. - 11:30 A.M.) and April 6th (6:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M.).  Currently, the seminars are conducted at the Clearwater, FL Corporate Offices.  Look for seminars in your area soon.  In an effort to further expand the outreach of the training seminars, PACS will be conducting webinars via the Internet. 
 
Mold is still receiving exceptional attention from the media and at the Federal, State, and Local levels of government.  Current legislation sessions are addressing indoor environmental issues.
 
Dr. Rajiv Sahay was the main presenter in 2003.  Dr. Sahay is a microbiologist and currently serves as the Manager of the Environmental Diagnostics Laboratory (EDL) at Pure Air Control Services.  He orchestrated EDL efforts to obtain certification last October by the American Industrial Hygiene Association in their EMLAP program for fungal, bacterial, and microscopy, thus establishing EDL as a premier indoor environmental laboratory at the national and international levels.
 
Many people from diverse industries attended the IAQ 101 Series of Seminars.  2003 attendees highly benefited from the IAQ 101 Seminars.  An invaluable Question and Answer followed the presentations with  industry experts providing recommendations on proactive and reactive approaches.  These discussions included practical solutions for their indoor environmental concerns.  Attendees also enjoyed a tour of the EDL laboratory facilities.
