Seminars at Pure Air Control Services a Success

For Immediate Release:

Clearwater, FL – June 5, 2002 – Pure Air Control Services, an industry leading Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) firm, has just held a very successful IEQ seminar entitled Understanding Mold in the Indoor Environment at their state-of-the-art Clearwater, FL training center.  The seminar was a model of accomplishment, attracting over 30 attendees from throughout the nation and Caribbean.  Organizations attending this acclaimed seminar were represented from CO, GA, NC, VA, LA, PR, and others.

Attendee, Bruce I. Sigurdson, President of Winchester Environmental Consultants, Inc. of Winchester, VA said, “The Pure Air Control Services seminar on Understanding Mold in the Indoor Environment was an exceptional offering of experienced based knowledge that provides a very credible foundation for dealing with mold.  Their highly qualified personnel are committed to professional and accurate identification of potential mold problems accompanied by certified lab analysis and proven remediation techniques.  I look forward to a solid working relationship.”

Alan Wozniak, President/CEO of Pure Air Control Services said, “This turnout, coming during an industry wide boom and a time of great concern for health and safety, convincingly demonstrates how important today’s environmental professionals view the role that knowledge of the Indoor Environment can play in their businesses.  The seminar taught the attendees how to cut costs by using simple yet proven sampling technologies, efficiently and effectively remediate contaminated environments, and understand the critical role of an Indoor Environmental Laboratory.  Utilizing this knowledge, IEQ professionals and facility managers alike can enable workforces to proactively address IEQ issues.  Understanding Mold in the Indoor Environment provided the foresight and techniques that will help today’s IEQ professional lead their companies into the future.”

Board certified Allergist/Immunologist, Dr. James Monroe King of Pure Air Control Services delivered a highly informative presentation covering the health aspects of mold contaminated environments.  When asked by an attendee why be concerned about IEQ in facilities like schools or office buildings where contaminants are ubiquitous, Dr. King replied, "Improving IEQ can lead to a better quality of life for students and workers, and enhance learning and job performance."

Understanding Mold in the Indoor Environment is the only industry event that is specifically designed to provide IEQ professionals and facility managers understand the full gamut of issues related to mold in the Indoor Environment, which continues to be of great importance following several high-publicity lawsuits throughout the nation.  Presentations included topics such as building audits, preliminary investigations, screen testing, building diagnostic evaluations, environmental laboratory functions, building/mold/HVAC remediation and legal aspects.
