IEQ Seminar: Resolving IEQ Issues Through Diagnosis and Remediation

 

For Immediate Release:

 

Clearwater, FL (July 2002) - Applications are invited for participation in a one day IEQ seminar, to at the Pure Air Control Services Training Center in Clearwater FL.  Attendees will learn tactics for resolving IEQ issues utilizing skills which involve investigation, diagnosis and remediation.  The tentative date for the seminar is Saturday, August 24, 2002.

  • Environmental Professionals
  • Facility / Plant Engineers
  • Environmental Health & Safety Personnel

 

Attendees of the seminar will be drawn from throughout the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean.  Attendees are encouraged to participate by discussing their own IEQ experiences and exchanging views with a panel of IEQ professionals. 

The objective of the seminar is to advance the knowledge of personnel whose expertise may not necessarily be IEQ; to draw representatives from different points in the world for partnership with Pure Air Control Services on IEQ related projects; to help create an international network community of IEQ professionals familiar with approaches to investigating, diagnosing and mitigating the indoor environment; and ultimately to further understanding of Indoor Environmental Quality.

 

The specific theme of the Seminar changes each month. The theme for the July 20 seminar is Resolution of IEQ Issues.  Addressing the indoor environment holistically will be presented and discussed. The impact of various contaminants other than mold on a building occupant’s health will be especially discussed.
